Chapter 01
Every stay starts with a meet and greet
The worry with boarding is a dog left at a kennel it has never seen, with people who have never met it, and nobody sure which dogs are vaccinated or which are fixed. K9 Mountain Resorts answers that before the first night, not at the front desk with a leash in your hand.
It is the 3-step Pet Parent Assurance Protocol. First you create a Pawfinity account. Second, you book a meet and greet with Tracy by text at (208) 607-9509. Third, you review the K9MR Policies & Procedures before check-in. Visitors are welcome at 7313 South Highway 33, with or without a dog; call ahead, and look for the white fence one mile north of Victor.
Proof of rabies vaccine may be required upon request, and please tell us whether your dog is fixed. Dogs in heat can't come in, and the playmates your dog is grouped with are vaccinated.

How a boarding day is counted and run
Boarding is $45 per day, and the count is simple: check-in morning is 1 day, check-out night is 1 day. Drop off in the morning and pick up at the end of day two, and that is 2 days, $90. Drop off in the evening and pick up the next morning, and it is about 1 day, $45.
Between those two points the day runs on rotated group playtime, with continuous fresh water down the whole time and custom mealtimes and treats for each dog. Quarters are clean and spacious, climate controlled and air purified, and every dog gets an individual locker for its own things.
After dark the lights go low. Soft nightlights stay on and comforting music plays for the dogs settling in, with staff on location 24/7. Drop-off is 9-11 AM and pick-up is 5-7 PM, so the day has the same two edges every time.
Chapter 03
Booking, cancelling and picking up
Boarding is quite often full, so text Tracy at (208) 607-9509 for availability as early as you know your dates. The office is open Monday to Friday 9 AM to 7 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 2 PM, and closed Sunday.
A card on file is required for every booking, and we ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel by call or text. No-shows and last-minute cancellations are charged the full price of the booked service, per pet.
At pick-up please have your dog on a leash and under control. Payment is due on completion of services. If you only need the daytime hours, daycare is $35 and is described on the daycare page.
