Four ways a dog spends time at K9MR

Boarding and daycare are the core of the kennel; the grooming room and the microbubble tub sit on the same property.

“From the moment I dropped my dog off, I felt completely at ease.”

One dog's day behind the white fence

The twelve things K9MR promises every boarder, set down in the order a day actually goes, from the morning drop-off to the nightlight.

9 to 11 AM · Drop-off

On a leash, through the front desk

Dogs arrive on a leash and under control, and the meet and greet with Tracy is already done, so the desk is a hand-off, not an interview. Vaccinated playmates only; tell us if your dog is fixed.

Mid-morning · Play

Rotated group playtime

Groups are rotated through the day instead of one free-for-all, so a small terrier is not sharing the floor with the whole pack at once. Continuous fresh water is down the whole time.

Midday · Meals

Custom mealtimes and treats

Each dog eats on its own schedule, with the treats you send. A doodle that eats twice a day and a puppy that eats four times are both normal here.

Afternoon · Rest

Quiet time in climate-controlled quarters

Clean, spacious quarters with individual lockers for each dog's things, climate-controlled rooms and an air purification system, which matters in a valley that goes from August heat to January snow.

5 to 7 PM · Pick-up

Home, or one more night

Payment is due on completion of services. A daycare dog that is not picked up and stays the night moves onto the boarding rate, so text ahead if plans change.

After dark · Lights low

Soft nightlights and comforting music

The overhead lights go off, a soft nightlight stays on low by the kennels, and music plays for the dogs settling in. Staff are on location 24/7, so nobody spends the night alone in the building.

Teton winters, climate-controlled rooms

Air purification and climate control in every room, from August heat to a January drift on the fence line.

Boarding $45 a day · Daycare $35

Before you book a stay

The questions owners text Tracy most. The full policy list is on the first-stay page.

Boarding is $45 per day. Check-in morning counts as one day and check-out night counts as one day, so a morning drop-off with pick-up at the end of day two is two days ($90), and an evening drop-off with pick-up the next morning is about one day ($45).

Daycare is $35 for the day. If your dog isn't picked up the same day and stays the night, the boarding rate applies instead, $45 or $90 depending on pick-up time.

Drop off dogs 9-11 AM and pick up 5-7 PM. The office is open Monday to Friday 9 AM to 7 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 2 PM, closed Sunday.

Three steps: create a Pawfinity account, book a meet and greet with Tracy by text at (208) 607-9509, and review the K9MR Policies & Procedures before check-in. Proof of rabies vaccine may be required upon request, and please tell us whether your dog is fixed. Dogs in heat can't come in.
